Happy Horror Month and welcome back to The Forest! In part four, we analyze our fourth gameplay video where some mysteries are solved but others still remain as the story comes to an end. Though Eric makes his escape from the island, the aftermath of Sahara Therapeutics' testing appears to be far from over. In this episode, we talk about the downfall of Dr. Cross, learn of his "Jarius Project," and react to a potential second Sahara location. Also discussed, is that FLESH ROOM... the state of Megan, and what is up with the TV host?
Don't forget to watch or play along - gameplay is posted weekly on our YouTube channel! We'll continue to play The Forest and analyze it in our podcast - join us in the coming weeks as we try to solve the mystery on this hostile island.

00:00:00 --> 00:00:03 We finished the game. Lots of questions. Lots
00:00:03 --> 00:00:06 of questions. Maybe some answers. We'll talk
00:00:06 --> 00:00:08 about it. Should we do the out -of -context summary?
00:00:08 --> 00:00:11 Go for it. In this episode, we go through corporate
00:00:11 --> 00:00:17 orientation. Rinse that sink out, please. And
00:00:17 --> 00:00:20 poor John. One of the puppies whined and it sounded
00:00:20 --> 00:00:23 like a loon. Down, down. Guess who it is. Gus.
00:00:25 --> 00:00:29 For our listeners, Gus is Toast's brother. Down.
00:00:31 --> 00:00:33 Biologically. We're not just saying that. Yeah.
00:00:33 --> 00:00:37 My parents adopted him. Thank you for coming
00:00:37 --> 00:00:39 back for more replay reviews. My name is Leah.
00:00:40 --> 00:00:42 And my name is Kathy. We are two friends who
00:00:42 --> 00:00:44 are here to replay, review, and analyze your
00:00:44 --> 00:00:47 favorite video games. And since Kathy has never
00:00:47 --> 00:00:49 seen the games before, it helps me view them
00:00:49 --> 00:00:51 through her fresh eyes, almost like I'm discovering
00:00:51 --> 00:00:53 them again for the first time. We hope it will
00:00:53 --> 00:00:59 be a similar experience for you. Yeah, okay,
00:00:59 --> 00:01:02 we left off with the red hallway. So we're walking
00:01:02 --> 00:01:05 through it this time. In a room, we find a printed
00:01:05 --> 00:01:07 email containing, I think, a picture of Megan.
00:01:08 --> 00:01:11 It's an exchange between Dr. Matthew Cross and
00:01:11 --> 00:01:16 his wife, Jessica. Okay, so Jessica says, keep
00:01:16 --> 00:01:19 away from us, don't contact me again. And Matt
00:01:19 --> 00:01:21 says, if you file for a divorce, you will regret
00:01:21 --> 00:01:25 it. What involvement does Matt have with Sahara
00:01:25 --> 00:01:28 Industries? And at what point? Because I was
00:01:28 --> 00:01:31 kind of under the impression, like, he started
00:01:31 --> 00:01:35 it to save Megan. But I'm starting to not. I
00:01:35 --> 00:01:39 think it's older than that. So further on in
00:01:39 --> 00:01:42 some kind of ward, we find Ethical Scientist
00:01:42 --> 00:01:46 Magazine. Isn't that ironic? Isn't it? It has
00:01:46 --> 00:01:48 a picture of what we've been calling the artifact,
00:01:48 --> 00:01:52 right? On the cover. And it says, ancient artifacts.
00:01:52 --> 00:01:55 Can this device bring back the dead? If that
00:01:55 --> 00:01:58 is the case, though. Megan is dying, not dead.
00:01:58 --> 00:02:01 So is this really going to be helpful? Well,
00:02:01 --> 00:02:03 I'm looking at the theories, which makes it sound
00:02:03 --> 00:02:07 like this is sort of like a joke magazine. And
00:02:07 --> 00:02:09 so they're saying that maybe someone from Sahara
00:02:09 --> 00:02:12 went rogue and took this information public.
00:02:13 --> 00:02:16 But because it's so insane, no one believed them.
00:02:17 --> 00:02:20 And so it was published in this sarcastic magazine.
00:02:21 --> 00:02:24 I do have a question. So in the hallway, we see
00:02:24 --> 00:02:28 those... red paint containers which makes sense
00:02:28 --> 00:02:31 and our main character even gets his hands wet
00:02:31 --> 00:02:36 with the paint so are the monsters just humans
00:02:36 --> 00:02:38 pretending to be monsters and soaking themselves
00:02:38 --> 00:02:42 in red paint or is it that the monsters somehow
00:02:42 --> 00:02:47 got themselves um covered in the red paint i
00:02:47 --> 00:02:50 have no idea It seems kind of intentional. Like,
00:02:50 --> 00:02:52 I'm just confused. Why do we paint ourselves
00:02:52 --> 00:02:54 red? There must be a reason for that, right?
00:02:54 --> 00:02:56 We don't just decide, hey, I'm going to put this
00:02:56 --> 00:02:59 paint on my body and not have a reason for it.
00:02:59 --> 00:03:02 And why paint the walls red? Yeah, is there some
00:03:02 --> 00:03:04 correlation? Does the color red have some significance
00:03:04 --> 00:03:08 to whatever's going on here? Farther on, we see,
00:03:08 --> 00:03:11 like, observation rooms. They're full of, like,
00:03:11 --> 00:03:13 icky babies and dead monsters. One looks like
00:03:13 --> 00:03:16 a slug, and it's laying over a bed labeled John,
00:03:17 --> 00:03:20 so... Sorry, John. And then, continuing on, I
00:03:20 --> 00:03:24 find Megan's crayons. After the flesh room, oh
00:03:24 --> 00:03:26 my gosh. Is the flesh room the one where it's
00:03:26 --> 00:03:31 like a room where it's just a pool of human body
00:03:31 --> 00:03:35 parts? It's just a big, the whole room is flesh
00:03:35 --> 00:03:38 now. Yeah. It's disgusting. No air in that room.
00:03:38 --> 00:03:43 Just body. Then we soon will stumble across a
00:03:43 --> 00:03:45 PowerPoint presentation that's still playing.
00:03:45 --> 00:03:50 orientation slideshow number two so we see longevity
00:03:50 --> 00:03:53 medicine through jarus project by dr matthew
00:03:53 --> 00:03:56 cross and then we learn that this leggy octolady
00:03:56 --> 00:04:00 her name is virginia or subject 375b and notes
00:04:00 --> 00:04:03 for her are developed multiple sex organs and
00:04:03 --> 00:04:07 limbs and facial distortions we also see that
00:04:07 --> 00:04:10 the big creepy guy is armzy which we kind of
00:04:10 --> 00:04:15 already learned that subject 82 c6 Also has multiple
00:04:15 --> 00:04:18 limbs, face distortions, like Virginia, but highly
00:04:18 --> 00:04:22 aggressive. And then on the earnings slide, there's
00:04:22 --> 00:04:25 one bullet point that talks about parents are
00:04:25 --> 00:04:28 willing to spend money on. What exactly are they
00:04:28 --> 00:04:30 spending money on? Trying to revive their kids
00:04:30 --> 00:04:34 at the sacrifice of other young children? I guess
00:04:34 --> 00:04:37 just extending their life. This seems to be Dr.
00:04:38 --> 00:04:41 Cross's project, right? So maybe it's something
00:04:41 --> 00:04:45 he took on when Megan, got sick because it seems
00:04:45 --> 00:04:48 like she's sick she's got the ivy you know she's
00:04:48 --> 00:04:51 in a wheelchair so i'm thinking he's probably
00:04:51 --> 00:04:53 trying to tout this to other parents as like
00:04:53 --> 00:04:57 oh we can beat their chronic illness blah blah
00:04:57 --> 00:04:59 but he's not disclosing they might turn into
00:04:59 --> 00:05:06 a octolady or a swingy armsy guy i have one more
00:05:06 --> 00:05:08 note on that slide do you have any more notes
00:05:08 --> 00:05:11 no okay also on the slide it says purchase of
00:05:11 --> 00:05:14 peninsula and talks about like i guess that's
00:05:14 --> 00:05:16 what they did with some of their earnings so
00:05:16 --> 00:05:18 that must be where we are right and that explains
00:05:18 --> 00:05:21 a lot that this is a privately owned plot of
00:05:21 --> 00:05:24 land i do have a question i'm wondering if peninsula
00:05:24 --> 00:05:27 is a second plot of land or the land we're currently
00:05:27 --> 00:05:29 on because i thought we were on an island is
00:05:29 --> 00:05:32 there another plot of land like the peninsula
00:05:32 --> 00:05:34 that we're trying to purchase and this is hinting
00:05:34 --> 00:05:37 at a second game that first we have the forest
00:05:37 --> 00:05:39 on this island now we're going to have maybe
00:05:39 --> 00:05:44 the desert on the peninsula Yeah, could be. Either
00:05:44 --> 00:05:47 way, I think it explains that they own this.
00:05:47 --> 00:05:50 Either it's the island or it's a peninsula. And
00:05:50 --> 00:05:52 then maybe they're doing the same thing on the
00:05:52 --> 00:05:55 peninsula if this is an island. So yeah, I think
00:05:55 --> 00:05:58 that makes sense. But I'm confused. How do you
00:05:58 --> 00:06:01 do this elsewhere? Because I don't know, but
00:06:01 --> 00:06:03 it seems to me like some of the stuff that they
00:06:03 --> 00:06:06 need is like ingrained in the island. You know,
00:06:06 --> 00:06:08 like it seems like it's built into the island,
00:06:08 --> 00:06:11 but... I don't know, maybe it's more man -made
00:06:11 --> 00:06:14 than we thought. I then find a drawing of the
00:06:14 --> 00:06:18 tower slash artifact, and not long after that,
00:06:18 --> 00:06:22 a termination email. So this email is addressed
00:06:22 --> 00:06:26 to Matt, and it says, your employment with Sahara
00:06:26 --> 00:06:29 Therapeutics is terminated for unethical and
00:06:29 --> 00:06:31 inappropriate use of company equipment. Please
00:06:31 --> 00:06:35 submit your key card to security when you leave
00:06:35 --> 00:06:37 the building. Please let us know if we can assist
00:06:37 --> 00:06:40 something something during your transition. Warmest
00:06:40 --> 00:06:45 regards, Nancy Helen, head of HR. I can't be
00:06:45 --> 00:06:48 mad at Sahara for this. Yeah. It would have been
00:06:48 --> 00:06:51 more helpful if they had key controls in place
00:06:51 --> 00:06:53 to prevent him from using it for personal reasons.
00:06:55 --> 00:06:58 Scene two. You ready for that? Mm -hmm. I hear
00:06:58 --> 00:07:00 an odd whooshing, almost breathing sound coming
00:07:00 --> 00:07:04 from the room ahead. I approach and inside is
00:07:04 --> 00:07:06 the artifact. The tower we've been calling it.
00:07:07 --> 00:07:09 Which is a lot smaller than I imagined it being.
00:07:10 --> 00:07:12 Proves my theory wrong because I thought that
00:07:12 --> 00:07:16 the alien doors were that and it's not. But it's
00:07:16 --> 00:07:18 still the same. It looks like the same construction
00:07:18 --> 00:07:22 sort of. And it's also connected to the bedrock
00:07:22 --> 00:07:28 seemingly. So like was it a natural formation
00:07:28 --> 00:07:30 that they found and they built this whole facility
00:07:30 --> 00:07:33 around it? It kind of looks that way. That was
00:07:33 --> 00:07:36 my first thought. But at the same time, how did
00:07:36 --> 00:07:41 they stumble across it? And the video also made
00:07:41 --> 00:07:43 it seem like they were able to move this artifact
00:07:43 --> 00:07:47 around. Does it just need to be connected to
00:07:47 --> 00:07:52 the earth to work, maybe? It also has tubes going
00:07:52 --> 00:07:55 from it to like a bed, gurney kind of thing,
00:07:55 --> 00:07:59 where we find another Megan drawing. And then
00:07:59 --> 00:08:01 we learn of a second artifact and another tape.
00:08:01 --> 00:08:04 So it's a tape labeled Second Artifact Test.
00:08:05 --> 00:08:07 So I'll go ahead and share this with you now.
00:08:08 --> 00:08:11 Okay. This scene makes sense now that we know
00:08:11 --> 00:08:15 what that area is. Right. It kind of looks like
00:08:15 --> 00:08:19 a giant bug butt, does it not? No. A little bit?
00:08:19 --> 00:08:22 No. Yeah, it does. I have no clue what you're
00:08:22 --> 00:08:23 talking about. Like the underside of a beetle?
00:08:25 --> 00:08:28 Yeah. Glowing? It does not look like the other
00:08:28 --> 00:08:31 artifact, which I find interesting. I also have
00:08:31 --> 00:08:33 a lot of questions about how this artifact works,
00:08:33 --> 00:08:36 which we'll probably save for the end. We also
00:08:36 --> 00:08:41 find an email. It says, it's to Sasha from Matthew.
00:08:42 --> 00:08:45 We believe the device may be able to bring down
00:08:45 --> 00:08:48 a plane. And then to Matthew, please send me
00:08:48 --> 00:08:52 an update on this observation of yours. God bless,
00:08:52 --> 00:08:55 Sasha. I don't think God is involved in this
00:08:55 --> 00:09:00 at all, Sasha. Take it back. I wander around
00:09:00 --> 00:09:01 for a while, confused what I'm supposed to do.
00:09:01 --> 00:09:04 There's a button, but I can't press it. Eventually,
00:09:04 --> 00:09:06 I figure out Timmy's in the artifact, which looks
00:09:06 --> 00:09:11 painful. He's got, like, stalagmites going into
00:09:11 --> 00:09:14 his head and his body. But I yank him out, and
00:09:14 --> 00:09:17 we put him on the bed. Gurney thing. That's really
00:09:17 --> 00:09:21 sad to find your child like that. That made my
00:09:21 --> 00:09:23 heart really sad. And typically, I don't have
00:09:23 --> 00:09:27 this reaction around, like, kids and games. But,
00:09:28 --> 00:09:31 like... For some reason in this game, in this
00:09:31 --> 00:09:35 scene, it really makes you really sad to see
00:09:35 --> 00:09:38 that this is how you find your son. When he was
00:09:38 --> 00:09:41 just left there all alone, you know, like that's
00:09:41 --> 00:09:44 just sad. Nothing about, like it's just, there's
00:09:44 --> 00:09:47 a lot of layers to the sadness of this. And the
00:09:47 --> 00:09:51 music changed? Yeah, the music changes. I think
00:09:51 --> 00:09:53 it changes because he gets the idea of like to
00:09:53 --> 00:09:56 put these tube things on Timmy to try to save
00:09:56 --> 00:09:58 him. And then it's like, oh, we need a new sacrifice
00:09:58 --> 00:10:02 to save Timmy. Isn't it more ethical to just
00:10:02 --> 00:10:07 leave Timmy dead? I mean, it sounds really cruel.
00:10:07 --> 00:10:09 And I get this entire game is all about saving
00:10:09 --> 00:10:10 your child. But what are you going to do when
00:10:10 --> 00:10:13 Timmy becomes a monster and attacks you? Like,
00:10:13 --> 00:10:16 do you kill it or do you let it kill you? I don't
00:10:16 --> 00:10:19 think he knows about that yet or not fully. I
00:10:19 --> 00:10:21 don't think he has a full grasp of what's happening
00:10:21 --> 00:10:23 yet. I'll come back to this question, though,
00:10:24 --> 00:10:26 at the end of the scene. Okay. based on the decision
00:10:26 --> 00:10:29 I make at the end. But I realized I forgot. I
00:10:29 --> 00:10:33 skipped a note. So there's a red -painted guy,
00:10:33 --> 00:10:37 I think, dead. And behind on the whiteboard,
00:10:37 --> 00:10:40 it says, Daddy's dead, with a frowny face. So
00:10:40 --> 00:10:44 this must be Matthew Cross, right? And Megan
00:10:44 --> 00:10:48 wrote that? I mean, I don't really know what
00:10:48 --> 00:10:50 the significance is, but I feel like it's significant
00:10:50 --> 00:10:53 enough to mention it, like he's dead. So we're
00:10:53 --> 00:10:56 off to find a new sacrifice. We find another
00:10:56 --> 00:10:58 drawing that says Daddy. He looks angry. And
00:10:58 --> 00:11:01 then we follow bloody footprints to find Megan.
00:11:02 --> 00:11:05 But she does not look normal. She is not normal.
00:11:07 --> 00:11:12 Her lower half of her face is covered in black
00:11:12 --> 00:11:17 goo. What is that? I don't know. The next note
00:11:17 --> 00:11:23 is what the f***. This is like pure horror stuff
00:11:23 --> 00:11:28 where She spazzes out, and then something comes
00:11:28 --> 00:11:33 out of her mouth and just eats her body. It turns
00:11:33 --> 00:11:36 her body inside out. Yeah, she's not a creature
00:11:36 --> 00:11:40 we've seen yet. Somewhat spider -armsy hybrid
00:11:40 --> 00:11:43 thing. She's dangling from it in the middle.
00:11:44 --> 00:11:47 And this fight pissed me off, because I don't
00:11:47 --> 00:11:49 know how a target can be so big and so small
00:11:49 --> 00:11:51 at the same time. These legs are so spindly,
00:11:52 --> 00:11:54 so you have to aim accordingly. But it's still
00:11:54 --> 00:11:58 so big. But I do eventually take it, take her
00:11:58 --> 00:12:03 down. The music was very intense. Which, up until
00:12:03 --> 00:12:11 here, we don't get much music. Should I leave
00:12:11 --> 00:12:18 that in? Sure. I think I killed Megan. I think
00:12:18 --> 00:12:22 she's dead. How do we feel about that? The question
00:12:22 --> 00:12:25 is, isn't she already dead when the monster just
00:12:25 --> 00:12:28 came out of her? I don't know. Is there a cure?
00:12:29 --> 00:12:32 I don't know. But screw her. Let's sacrifice
00:12:32 --> 00:12:34 her. Except actually we can't because we need
00:12:34 --> 00:12:37 a live sample. So we killed her for no reason.
00:12:37 --> 00:12:40 Well, it was going to kill you anyways. Yeah.
00:12:41 --> 00:12:45 So there's that. But then going back to the ethical
00:12:45 --> 00:12:48 question, though, say that even if Megan's body
00:12:48 --> 00:12:51 could have been... used to help revive your son
00:12:51 --> 00:12:55 is it worth bringing him back to life knowing
00:12:55 --> 00:12:59 that he's already been experimented on eric our
00:12:59 --> 00:13:03 main character has seen what can happen to these
00:13:03 --> 00:13:06 bodies that have been tested on isn't there any
00:13:06 --> 00:13:09 consideration of just leaving leaving things
00:13:09 --> 00:13:12 be the way it is because what's going to happen
00:13:12 --> 00:13:15 if you bring your son back and he's in more pain
00:13:15 --> 00:13:17 or he becomes a monster and kills more people
00:13:19 --> 00:13:22 Yeah, I think he just can't say for sure because
00:13:22 --> 00:13:25 he doesn't know exactly what's happened to Timmy
00:13:25 --> 00:13:29 versus what they've done to Megan. So I think
00:13:29 --> 00:13:30 he's just kind of like, if there's any chance,
00:13:31 --> 00:13:33 they gotta take it. We do get a keycard off of
00:13:33 --> 00:13:36 her, though, which we need to exit the room.
00:13:36 --> 00:13:39 And then we find an elevator. And now we're on
00:13:39 --> 00:13:42 top of the mountain in a room with the second
00:13:42 --> 00:13:45 artifact spiraling in the ceiling. And this...
00:13:45 --> 00:13:48 Ow. side area is the same outside area that we
00:13:48 --> 00:13:52 saw in one of our previous videos where megan
00:13:52 --> 00:13:54 was in an airplane and pointing at this weird
00:13:54 --> 00:13:57 castle looking thing we see the desk from the
00:13:57 --> 00:14:01 video with a console that shows a plane it says
00:14:01 --> 00:14:04 three matches identified thomas four kevin nine
00:14:04 --> 00:14:08 sally seven debate question mark there's also
00:14:08 --> 00:14:11 an emergency shutdown button but i only give
00:14:11 --> 00:14:14 it a second slot before deciding It's not worth
00:14:14 --> 00:14:17 the risk. Wait, you can press that button? Yeah.
00:14:17 --> 00:14:19 Oh, can we, for a summary, can we watch what
00:14:19 --> 00:14:25 happens if you choose that path? Sure. I barely
00:14:25 --> 00:14:27 considered it at all in my playthrough. I went
00:14:27 --> 00:14:30 through all of this to save Timmy. I'm not sweating
00:14:30 --> 00:14:36 now. Screw these other kids, man. So, it's like,
00:14:36 --> 00:14:39 are you sure? I'm like, yeah, I'm sure. I would
00:14:39 --> 00:14:41 have hit that button so much faster than the
00:14:41 --> 00:14:44 game let me. But we see the artifact activate
00:14:44 --> 00:14:48 and it sends out a ring of energy and it knocks
00:14:48 --> 00:14:51 the plane down. So now we know how that happens.
00:14:52 --> 00:14:55 I know. Well, yes, but I do have a lot of questions
00:14:55 --> 00:15:00 with that. How? How does one this artifact locate
00:15:00 --> 00:15:02 whichever kids are on the flights? Like, how
00:15:02 --> 00:15:04 is it able to identify all this information?
00:15:05 --> 00:15:07 And how does it know that the match is to Timmy
00:15:07 --> 00:15:10 and not to any other ones? I'm assuming it has
00:15:10 --> 00:15:12 to do with us plugging things into Timmy. But
00:15:12 --> 00:15:15 still. How does it know where these kids are
00:15:15 --> 00:15:18 located and their matches and the flight they're
00:15:18 --> 00:15:23 on? And two, how do they target the flight to
00:15:23 --> 00:15:26 specifically letting that crash? And three, how
00:15:26 --> 00:15:30 is no one questioning things like this when consistent
00:15:30 --> 00:15:34 planes with children like this keep dying? Yeah,
00:15:34 --> 00:15:36 that's kind of my big question is why is nobody
00:15:36 --> 00:15:40 asking questions? And I think if it's a privately
00:15:40 --> 00:15:43 owned island, that gives us a little more understanding
00:15:43 --> 00:15:46 of like, oh, people can't just waltz in here.
00:15:47 --> 00:15:49 But like they could get a warrant, you know?
00:15:50 --> 00:15:53 Well, it's that, but if you're consistently seeing
00:15:53 --> 00:15:57 flights disappear relatively close location to
00:15:57 --> 00:15:59 the peninsula or to the island, don't you have
00:15:59 --> 00:16:02 questions? Like we know about the Bermuda Triangle
00:16:02 --> 00:16:05 for a reason. So how is this not? And guess what?
00:16:05 --> 00:16:07 People explore it all the time because they're
00:16:07 --> 00:16:09 curious about it. That would be happening here
00:16:09 --> 00:16:15 too. Final scene. Fade to black. Now it's one
00:16:15 --> 00:16:18 year later. We're going on a talk show. Why?
00:16:19 --> 00:16:23 I guess Timmy's alive. Apparently. And we do
00:16:23 --> 00:16:25 learn confirmation that we are Eric LeBlanc,
00:16:25 --> 00:16:29 a TV star and author. Is the host on like eight
00:16:29 --> 00:16:32 shots of espresso? Okay, the host pisses me off.
00:16:32 --> 00:16:35 Let us respond before you ask another question,
00:16:35 --> 00:16:40 buddy. And this host is being way too eager about
00:16:40 --> 00:16:44 trying to get him to go through some PTSD. Why
00:16:44 --> 00:16:46 would you do that? Why is this something that
00:16:46 --> 00:16:49 people want to see him showing how he probably
00:16:49 --> 00:16:52 killed people in Swing at Axe? Are people really
00:16:52 --> 00:16:57 that ignorant and so... Yeah. I don't even know
00:16:57 --> 00:17:00 how to describe it. But to your point, though,
00:17:00 --> 00:17:02 why did Eric even agree to be on the show at
00:17:02 --> 00:17:05 all? And why would you drag your son into doing
00:17:05 --> 00:17:09 this? exactly okay so yeah the axe demonstration
00:17:09 --> 00:17:13 we like pause and look at the axe like it's bringing
00:17:13 --> 00:17:15 back memories or something and then timmy starts
00:17:15 --> 00:17:19 tweaking but he seems to snap out of it and then
00:17:19 --> 00:17:24 it fades to black again question is is the spazzing
00:17:24 --> 00:17:27 thing consistent for every kid or thing becoming
00:17:27 --> 00:17:31 a monster and how do you start and stop because
00:17:31 --> 00:17:35 when I cannot remember her name. Mary? It's not
00:17:35 --> 00:17:37 Mary. I don't know. Megan. Goodness gracious.
00:17:38 --> 00:17:44 When Megan turned... She's Mary now. When Megan
00:17:44 --> 00:17:47 turned into a monster, it came out of her mouth.
00:17:47 --> 00:17:50 And is that just unique to the monster that she
00:17:50 --> 00:17:54 is? Or is this just a universal experience that
00:17:54 --> 00:17:57 everyone's going to go through and then become
00:17:57 --> 00:17:59 a different monster? Because we've seen this
00:17:59 --> 00:18:02 shaking three times with... The side effects
00:18:02 --> 00:18:05 video with Megan and now with Timmy. I mean,
00:18:06 --> 00:18:08 it looks like you can suppress it, but does it
00:18:08 --> 00:18:10 like continue to grow inside of you? Like have
00:18:10 --> 00:18:13 things changed on a cellular level? So if he
00:18:13 --> 00:18:17 were to become a monster, do you think Eric would
00:18:17 --> 00:18:21 have to kill his son on live television? Oh,
00:18:21 --> 00:18:26 I hope so. See, it's his fault. You better handle
00:18:26 --> 00:18:30 it, right? I have no filter tonight. I'm sorry.
00:18:30 --> 00:18:36 I like it. So another flash forward. We're older
00:18:36 --> 00:18:39 Timmy. He's getting ready. Another shower scene.
00:18:40 --> 00:18:44 At least we don't see any butt stuff. Upper butt.
00:18:44 --> 00:18:49 Almost butt. ABM. So he brushes his teeth for
00:18:49 --> 00:18:51 about three seconds. Doesn't rinse the tooth
00:18:51 --> 00:18:54 fresh and doesn't rinse his spit out of the sink.
00:18:54 --> 00:18:57 Also, he comes out of the shower fully dressed.
00:18:58 --> 00:19:00 Yeah, he, like, puts a robe on, but you can see
00:19:00 --> 00:19:02 when he reaches for the robe that there's a sleeve
00:19:02 --> 00:19:04 on his arm, so I don't know if that was a mistake.
00:19:05 --> 00:19:08 Why the shower? Why couldn't it be just him waking
00:19:08 --> 00:19:11 up? Or just start with the teeth brushing moment.
00:19:12 --> 00:19:15 But he follows up his teeth brushing with some
00:19:15 --> 00:19:19 whiskey. Buddy might have a problem. Yeah, he
00:19:19 --> 00:19:22 does. So Timmy comes out of the bathroom and
00:19:22 --> 00:19:24 goes in his bedroom where one side of the wall
00:19:24 --> 00:19:28 has a bunch of information about what I'm assuming
00:19:28 --> 00:19:32 is the forest. And he's looking at this. And
00:19:32 --> 00:19:36 then the sky starts changing. I am confused.
00:19:36 --> 00:19:38 Number one, yes, he seems obsessed with his experience
00:19:38 --> 00:19:41 in the forest, which I guess he would be. Number
00:19:41 --> 00:19:43 two, it almost feels like the full moon activated
00:19:43 --> 00:19:46 him somehow. That's weird because we've gotten
00:19:46 --> 00:19:50 no indication of that before. Which I'm wondering,
00:19:50 --> 00:19:52 is it the artifact that every time someone hits
00:19:52 --> 00:19:57 activate, maybe the energy in the sky gets weird
00:19:57 --> 00:20:01 and then the plane crashes? That could be. And
00:20:01 --> 00:20:03 it would understand why he's still obsessed with
00:20:03 --> 00:20:05 it because he'd want to like figure out how to
00:20:05 --> 00:20:07 quit that from happening. If every time they
00:20:07 --> 00:20:10 hit it, he gets these issues. Yeah. He's almost
00:20:10 --> 00:20:13 transforming as we see happening here. As we
00:20:13 --> 00:20:16 see eggs in his hands moving around under his
00:20:16 --> 00:20:19 skin. Yeah, what is that? What is that? Come
00:20:19 --> 00:20:25 on. Disturbing. Anyway, we have some questions,
00:20:25 --> 00:20:28 some theories, especially the red paint issue,
00:20:28 --> 00:20:31 but also like how does the artifact work? I think
00:20:31 --> 00:20:34 we'll get into all of that and maybe do some
00:20:34 --> 00:20:36 research on it for the summary. I'm really excited
00:20:36 --> 00:20:43 for the Kentucky Scorcher category. No. we can't
00:20:43 --> 00:20:46 blame you for this though there is no no normal
00:20:46 --> 00:20:49 options these are not your fault okay well gus
00:20:49 --> 00:20:51 is looking at me and whining at the door so i
00:20:51 --> 00:20:53 think you might have to pee okay sounds good
00:20:53 --> 00:20:56 so we should probably hop off but thank you for
00:20:56 --> 00:20:58 listening and we'll see you in the summary next
00:20:58 --> 00:21:02 week sounds good audacity on one three two one
